Hello loves! Although I am not a makeup expert of any sort, I wanted to share my everyday routine that I do to get ready for school or other casual occasions. It takes about five minutes and gives me a bright, fresh complexion and wide awake eyes that I really love and hope you will too!
Scarf: Target/old (similar here)
1. BB cream: I love the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream! I apply it with a makeup sponge from Ulta similar to the Beauty Blender, but a lot cheaper! I’ve gotten lots of compliments on my skin since I’ve been using this product! It only gives a little bit of coverage, leaving my face with a dewy look. It has an SPF of 30, which is the number my dermatologist recommended to me. This BB cream has never clogged my pores and I am pretty sensitive to other products making me break out. Plus, it’s amazingly affordable at less than $8. Do you guys use BB cream? I have never tried another and am curious to know what y’all love!
2. Blush: I use Mac ‘Stay Pretty’. It’s a gorgeous pink that’s not sparkly but just the right amount of shimmer. A makeup artist at the Nordstrom counter recommended this color for my skin tone. It’s a long-wear blush so it lasts all day- I definitely won’t go back to drug store blush! I believe a girl should own 2 blushes- one peach and one pink to go with any makeup look you want to create! The peach one I have is Mac ‘Peaches’. But most days I wear pink. Duh.
3. Powder: I just picked up Maybelline Wonder Powder and I like it because it goes on smoothly. I apply it only on my T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) to keep my cheeks glowing.
4. Eyeliner: People always compliment my eyeliner! I use Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner. This is my favorite of all time. It’s super easy to apply and lasts forever. I have it in black and brown!
5 Mascara: I’m currently using Telescopic by Loreal for my everyday mascara. I like how it really lengthens my lashes!
6 Lipstick: I’m a lipstick kind of girl. A few of my faves on rotation right now are Mac ‘Speed Dial’ and Mac ‘Impassioned’.
It seems like I am on a never ending search for some affordable, great quality and soft makeup brushes. Do you guys have a favorite brand to recommend?
